About Me
Hi there,
Ive just graduated from university after working very hard for the last three years i have a little time to take a break before getting a job, hopefully in London. Ive travelled lots before and particularly enjoy it as it gives me the chance to meet all sorts of interesting people. I am a very enthusiastic and curious person who is happy to get involved in anything. I can cook which makes me a good house guest and my party trick is walking on my hands.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Myself and two friends are cycling from Venice to Barcelona from the 28th June- 12th July. This is a very last minute planned trip and we mainly just want to get out on our bikes in the sun and see some beautiful countryside. However, we have a very small budget having just graduated with some hefty debts so are looking to save money on accommodation. We are very well behaved and respectful beings who can look after themselves if needs be.
Interests
As a rule i am always looking for more interests and hobbies. I will certainly try something that i haven't done before so that i know if i like it. I particularly enjoy extreme sports and adventure sports. I'm quite an advanced skier having spent 5 months working in the french Alps. I enjoy making things with my hands and being creative. I also enjoy a diverse social life.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am not a very disciplined reader and rarely make the time for it as i get a little impatient but the best books i have read are by Carl Hiaasen, in particular Lucky you. He writes mostly dark humour murder mysteries with hugely descriptive characters. My music taste changes from week to week but i am an easy listener and enjoy acoustic folk from day to day but prefer Electroswing to dance to. My favourite band is probably Everything Everything.
I am a really big film fan and pride myself in having seen many films. My absolute favourite director is Wes Anderson and i LOVE almost everything he has produced. His best work i feel is Life Aquatic with steve Zissou.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Evacuated an errupting volcano in Equador.....
If you have me to stay i will tell you the story.
Teach, Learn, Share
Im not entiely sure what this box is implying but i suppose i could just mention someting worth sharing.
I recently returned from a weeks trip in Berlin with my 95 year old grandfather who last visited the city when he was helping to liberate it from Nazi power. I spent much of the trip learning about the cities history during WWII. My grand father told me many stories of his experience of the city and country more than 70 years ago. I would obviously be more than happy to share these stories with anyone who is interested. I really enjoy the sharing of stories.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I think i can provide some amusing conversation. For anyone wanting to learn better English i am likely to be able to help. Iam quite well cultured and can tell you all i know about England and its traditions. Having spent the last 3 years studying to become an Architect i have a pretty developed understanding of design and enjoy talking about art, people and science and how they come together in a building.
