Overview
About Me
I feel like I've always been living in the same place except for a short stay in Bournemouth where I studied english and my stay in Strasbourg for my civil engineering studies.
For this reason I love to travel, see and experience new things as much as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think it's a great way to get to know local people and to learn something about this place from them.
Interests
I've been playing the trombone since I was about eight years old and play it in a local formation at the moment.
I enjoy architecture and nature equally and usually take them as motif for my photography.
Geocaching is a relatively new hobby for me, but I'm pretty enthusiastic about it.
As a typical Swiss I'm also a volunteer firefighter and serve in the Swiss army.

Music, Movies, and Books
I actually listen to all kinds of music, depending on my mood. ;-)
Though lately I feel the influence my parents had on me when I was I child because I'm finding myself listening to 80's and 90's songs over and over again.
Just like the music, I watch a great deal of different movie genres.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Served in the army for a whole year and became a Lieutenant.
Teach, Learn, Share
I always love to learn bits of new languages and enjoy to learn about local habits for example in food and drinks.
Moreover I like to see places that aren't that obvious, almost like hidden, to tourist.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can show you nice looking spots in and around Basel to take photos.
I can take you on a geocache hunt or learn you some things about it.
