I am a 27 year old motorcycle adventurer from Michigan. I did a lot of backpacking after my undergraduate degree in sport management then I joined the army national guard. I finished my master’s degree in between army trainings and I just recently returned from a 9 month deployment to Syria. I am using my leave from that to go on a motorcycle trip from Michigan to Ushuaia, Argentina! So far so good!

I love any type of sports. I really love to play and watch new sports and learn about the sport culture of a place. I am into running and weightlifting. I enjoy wrestling and playing soccer (footballl), American football, and basketball most!

Aside from sports I am really interested in business and being an entrepreneur. I love the idea of running my own business and building something I am passionate about.

I would also consider myself a minimalist. I don't like to own a lot of things. Things don't bring you happiness it's the experiences with others! Things only get in your way from doing what you want!

I try to travel on as much as a budget as possible when I travel and am perfectly okay with roughing it.

I would also consider myself a very religious person. One of the toughest parts of being on road is not being able to attend church regularly. However, I do keep up with daily devotions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To learn and feel the way people live differently from myself and see what I appreciate about that and how that can help me change my mentality and hopefully I can do the same for a host!

I would eventually, when I return home, love to be able to return the favor by offering my place for travels to stay out of thanks for all the gracious host I've had the privilege of staying with.

Interests

Seeing other cultures and what makes them special. I love trying new food. I love a good physical challenge like climbing a mountain or trying a new sport.
