Hi ! We are Marine and Samuel, a couple of French travelers ! 🇨🇵 🌍
We have been traveling around the world since July 2023 !

Our goal is to travel as sustainably as possible. That's why we favor ecological modes of transport. 🌱❌✈️
Hitchhiking was presented as an obvious choice, but it was after 15 countries, 25000 km and more than 600 cars that the desire to go on an even crazier adventure crossed our minds! What if we continued by bike?! No sooner said than done ! Here we are in the saddle to go cycle tourism to the four corners of the globe! 🚴🏽‍♀️🚴🏼🆕

We are in a "slow travel" concept, it means that we like to spend a lot of time in a country, at least a month, in order to understand the culture, spend time with locals, test the food, explore many places !
Most of the time, we learn a few common words from the country we are traveling through, but we prefer to communicate in English. Marine is still learning English and is very introverted, which is why you won't hear her speak much... 😅
But we love listening to people's stories and learning from their experiences, Samuel loves having great and deep discussions !

We like to serve people who host us, so we can cook or help you with daily tasks ! 👩‍🍳👨🏻‍🔧
We also like to go out and share time with the people who host us !

In general, we prefer nature and historical places rather than cities ! 🏜️🏖️🏔️
Our favorites activities are hiking in hidden places and camping, we have crossed several national parks since the start of our trip ! 🏕️

We don't know when this journey will end, we are gone for several years ! 🗓️

Couchsurfing is a fabulous network, that has helped us many times during our journey ! So, we want to contribute to this community by also hosting travelers ! For the moment, we obviously cannot accommodate travelers, given that we are not in France. But when we get there, maybe at the end of year 2024, we will accommodate as many travelers as possible ! 🤗
