ABOUT ME

I'm a quite nice 21 year old man of limited financial power, currently studying for a degree in English Literature at Oxford. I find it quite easy to get on with almost anybody, especially if they are passionate about something.

Interests

My favourite thing is learning, whether by reading, talking to people, visiting new places, spending days on Wikipedia, whatever. My main interest in life is English literature, but I'm also interested in basically everything else. I love to have conversations with people about things they are really passionate about. I hate to have conversations with people playing the 'devil's advocate.'

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I enjoy Stanley Kubrick, the Coen Brothers, David Lynch, anime, Withnail & I, amongst others. Generally prefer cultish films to blockbusters.
Music: Very wide range, so, a representative selection: Belle & Sebastian, Baths, Chopin, Das Racist, Die Antwoord, Emmy the Great, Fever Ray, Hot Sugar, James Blake, Louis Armstrong, Modeselektor, The National, Okkervil River, Shabazz Palaces, The Wave Pictures, Zomby.
