About Me

I'm an autodidact photographer and writer, always looking for inspiration. I like to write about nature, dreams and imaginary worlds. Photography has always helped me to keep my feet on the ground by focusing on what I love in this world : dance, people, and the beauty of nature !
Today, I'm trying to find a balance between what I would like to create and the world I live in. I studied literature and cinema but I got bored of the university. I want to experiment different ways of life so I could have a better understanding of the people...

Interests

I really like dancing, especially Lindy Hop ! I Last year, I've been in Bulgaria for a swing dance camp ! I practice photography since many years (https://500px.com/samueldutacq) and drawing is when I need to relax : landscapes, imaginary creatures, abstract things...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer, I took the Saint-James Way from Le Puy en Velay in France to Santiago de Compostella in Spain and did [almost] everything by feet. It was my biggest travel experience (two month and about 1600km) and something very intense and unique, meeting new people every day, always sleeping in a different place, and sharing so much with the others : laughs, pains, emotions...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach photography tips, lindy hop basic steps. Maybe I could help people who want to learn French, but I'm not sure to be a good teacher ! I'm also interested in cooking, especially Italian food !

I would like to learn how to shoot beautiful portraits of people, especially the interaction between the photographer and his model.
I also want to learn how to be a better human being... I think that everyone has some skills for that !

What I Can Share with Hosts

Going to theater, museums, swing parties, or simply walking outside and enjoying the wonderful norman weather !
