Overview
About Me
Hello! I'm the Managing Director of Roshni Nilaya (https://www.roshninilaya.org/), a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children in need by providing education, shelter, and food. Additionally, I serve as the pastor of Lighthouse Community in Erode, India. My passion for making a difference in the lives of others fuels my work every day.
In 2023, I had an incredible opportunity to travel to the US, which was both challenging and enriching. I faced many cultural shocks but embraced the adventure and enjoyed every moment. Traveling has taught me so much, and I'm excited to meet new people, share my experiences, and learn from others along the way.
When I'm not working or traveling, you can find me immersed in a good book. I believe in the power of stories to connect us and broaden our perspectives. I'm looking forward to connecting with fellow travelers, sharing stories, and creating unforgettable memories together.
Let's share some laughter and experiences!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I believe in the power of connection and the beauty of sharing experiences with people from different cultures. Traveling can be a transformative experience, and I want to meet locals who can offer insights into their communities and lifestyles.
As someone who values relationships and the exchange of ideas, Couchsurfing provides a unique opportunity to make genuine connections and create lasting friendships. I look forward to sharing stories, learning from others, and showcasing the warmth of Indian hospitality to fellow travelers.
Ultimately, I'm here to enrich my travels and contribute to the Couchsurfing community by offering support and sharing my journey with those I meet along the way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I've done is rescue children from begging and living on the streets, providing them with the opportunity to receive an education. Through my work with Roshni Nilaya, I've been able to not only bring these children into a safe environment but also put them in school where they can thrive and progress.
Seeing their transformation and growth has been incredibly rewarding. It's inspiring to witness their dreams take flight as they learn, make new friends, and build a brighter future. Knowing that I've played a role in changing their lives for the better is one of the most fulfilling experiences I've had.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I believe in the power of knowledge and experience. I love to share what I've learned through my work in the non-profit sector and my journey as a pastor. Whether it's about community service, personal development, or cultural insights, I'm always eager to impart wisdom and skills to those I meet.
Learn: Every person I encounter has a unique story and perspective that I can learn from. I value the lessons that come from diverse experiences and cultural exchanges. I'm particularly interested in learning about different ways of life, traditions, and values from fellow travelers and hosts.
Share: Sharing is at the heart of connection. I enjoy exchanging stories, ideas, and experiences that enrich our understanding of each other. Whether it's over a meal, a conversation, or a shared adventure, I believe that the act of sharing fosters community and strengthens bonds between people.
Through Couchsurfing, I hope to create a space where we can all teach, learn, and share with one another, building lasting connections and mutual understanding.
