Hey! I'm Samuel, I am 22 years old and currently living in a small village near Augsburg, Germany, but i will soon be moving to Kempten, a town in the Allgäu region in order to study there. I would describe myself as a person, who likes sport very much, especially volleyball and football, but because of a sport accident i currently are not capable of playing those two sports. But other thing like going hiking is not a problem for me anymore! :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My brother Matthias, who can be seen in my photo gallery, and me are currently planning a trip through Europe by train in july. Our destinations will be Austria, Hungary, Italy, Spain, France and the Netherlands, :-)
Matthias came up with the idea of couchsurfing and i liked the idea because it has many advantages. You can meet new people, maybe you can do some stuff together like cooking or exploring the city and of course, I am not gonna lie, it is more inexpensive than staying at a hostel or hotel. So why not give it a shot? :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like many music genres, but I would say the music I hear the most is rock music. This june i am heading to the music festival Nova Rock in the eastern part of Austria :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once went to the Azores, a small group of islands in the Atlantic Ocean belonging to Portugal. Even though a few years passed by since I was there, I still remember this trip because it was so awesome there. :-) The people there were so friendly and the landscape, especially the forests were astonishing. I remember swimming in a really small lake, only one and half metres deep, surrounded by trees and plants. There was also a small waterfall which flowed in the lake, it was really beautiful there :-)
I really would like to do a second trip to the Azores, but as a poor student the trip would be a little to expensive at the moment :D
