I'm a civil engineer living and working in Paris for 7 years now and I love travelling all around the World, meeting people with different backgrounds and discovering wonderful places, new cultures and good food of course !! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've discovered Couchsurfing as a lot of friends told me their wonderful experience using it in Iran !

So I decided to travel through Iran meeting up couchsurfers... and here I am ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Indonesia, on the Java island.. With one of my friends, we went to the Kawah Ijen, one of the biggest volcano of Java, by night. We woke up very early on the morning so we were the first to arrive there. We had a guide and gas masks as it is almost impossible to breath without (sulfure gas). First we went up to the summit in complete darkness using front lights. Then we went down to the crater, meeting up workers mining sulfur. There we saw the beauty of huge blue flames coming out of the crater. It was stunning and we were the only one, in the silence.
