Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people! I've only had one couchsurfing experience so far, but it was so incredible, and I'm hoping to have many more! It seems like couchsurfing lets you meet new people and explore new places in a way that no hostel or hotel every could.

Interests

I'm really into learning! I love to read especially about politics, cultures, and history. I also think linguistics is a fascinating subject – I don't speak many languages (yet), but I love learning about how they work and what makes each one unique. I grew up surrounded by nature, so I love getting out however I can – hiking, swimming, and especially camping. I'm also a huge fan of the theater, both watching and participating.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the sunrise on New Year's day from the top of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park, USA – the first sunrise seen in the US. The hike up is long and cold, but it's absolutely worth it!
