Music, Movies, and Books
Is hard to choose this kind of thing, they change too much over time, but some deserve a special position.
For music, one of my favourite is A Day In The Life from The beetles. Also deserve to be mentioned some songs that had a special place in my life such as: Whish You Were Here (I'm a big Pink Floyd's fan); Suit Nº1 to cello by Bach (I started learning cello last year because of this music); Habits (Tove lo); Vivir Mi Vida (Marc Anthony) and to represent Brazilian's music I will choose Preciso Me Encontrar from Cartola (I love a lot of Brazilian musics but unfortunately I do not have room for all here).
I am a great lover of fantasy and science fiction and I can cite as my favourite books some classics from this genres as: The Lord of the Rings (J. R. R. Tolkien); A Clockwork Orange (Anthony Burgess); The Foundation series (Isaac Asimov); The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Douglas Adams) and a lot of others. I'm also a big fan of more recent novels such as A Song of Ice and Fire (George R. R. Martin) and The Kingkiller Chronicle (Patrick Rothfuss).
To name some nonfiction books I would like to mention Freakonomics (Stephen J. Dubner and Steven Levitt); the Prince (Machiavelli) and Farewell by Carlos Drummond (one of the greatest Brazilian poets).
And to finish, my favourites movies are: Fight Club; Forrest Gump; Cidade de Deus (a great Brazilian movie); La vita è bella; American Beauty; Inside Out and O Menino e o Mundo (Brazilian animation that indicated to the Oscar in 2016).
