Overview
About Me
I am 24. I am young, foolish, and full of curiosity. All the things I thought I knew at 18 have now been replaced by a somber realization that I yet know nothing. I am just starting.
I have been to a few places in the world other than where I was born: Florence, London, Seoul, and Daegu, but the personally undiscovered stretches far beyond what I could even comprehend. For most of my life I have been itching to experience different cultures and meet new people, and yet I have barely traveled the land in which I was born: the United States.
Having just graduated, I realize there is no better time to get my feet wet and immerse myself into exploring this strange land full of microcosms of vibrant culture and expression.
As such, I will shortly take my car and see where the road takes me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Having just graduated college, I want to take some time to explore the world before I embark upon a new chapter in my life.
For much of my life I have been blessed with the unconditional love of people around me who have gone out of their way to extend a helping hand. My hope is that one day I will be able to carry on in this spirit of generosity and reciprocate the kindness that was offered to me through Couchsurfing.
Interests
I like to be in a perpetual state of beginning, and that requires constantly learning new skills and crafts. There is something intrinsically rewarding about embarking on a long journey of self discovery through the medium of some craft.
One particular journey that stands out to me is guitar, an instrument I was determined to learn at the age of sixteen and haven't forgotten about since. In the noise of life, I withdraw to my quiet place and strum a few chords and am suspended in the moment, reminded that life is just a collection of experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I don't have much in terms of material possessions, but I am open to share my stories and perspectives on life and am open to hear others' stories and perspectives as well.
