I am Sam. Sam I am.
How do I describe myself? Outgoing is an understatement for me. I actually got most social in three different high schools and I only went to one of them. I am effervescent, cultured, exciting, gregarious, fun, and I can be pretty funny sometimes. I am an artist. I am creative. I worked as a chef for several years, mainly focusing on pastries but I can make anything really.
I am kind and caring and find a way to make an event out of anything. I am actually really uncomfortable writing about me so much, so if you have any questions please just ask and I will share whatever:) Hope all is well.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

My family is all over and pretty cultured. I grew up all over the world, and I traveled all over the world growing up. When I was 19 I got on a flight and left for several months just traveling. I have been most places, but still have the gypsy itch all the time.
I love entertaining people, and hope to one day make a future out of it. As of now, I am in school so I cannot really act on my gypsy itch all the time, so I am opening my home for people to travel from all over. I live in an insanely perfect location a block away from all of the best bars of Chicago and the red line train. I also live two blocks from Wrigley Field and a few blocks away from the lake.

Interessen

I am interested in almost everything from sports to art. I love baseball, surfing, skiing, soccer, biking, etc. I love doing anything creative.
I love cooking.
I love movies.
I love adventure.
I love adrenaline rushes and learning about new cultures.
I love going out and partying and also staying in and relaxing.
I am also a graduated student at the Second City Training Center, so I do a lot of improv and comedy skits. I love acting, but I absolutely love comedy.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Movies: anything funny or action filled. I also enjoy horror films sometimes. I cannot pick a favourite movie though, too many great ones. Actually that's a lie. I love le chocolat because well chocolate. Tied In close second would be hop because Easter is my favourite holiday and Paris Je t'aime because I am a hopeless romantic and love stories make my heart flutter lol
Music: anything upbeat with good lyrics. I am not a fan of anything too heavy. Currently my favourite band is Milky Chance and my favourite song is Stolen Dance, even though its pretty over played.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

When I was 19 I went through a pretty traumatic series of events in the course of six hours. I was living in Lugano, Switzerland and my parents were living in Paradise Valley, Arizona. When I was about to go home to my parents, I decided last minute to through away my cell phone and jump on another flight going absolutely anywhere I could that was not Arizona. I was able to make to Greece that night. I then traveled from Greece to Japan by going country to country.

Another thing I did that is pretty amazing, is when I ran away to Australia for a guy I spent three days with when he was on vacation here. I had fallen in some sort of deep lust with him, and when I was in Australia with him everything was perfect. I decided to come back here to finish my degree and after I left the excitement faded and we lost contact, but the experience was amazing and a pretty good character description of me I would say.
