Overview
About Me
I'm a novelist, currently working on a follow up to my first publication in 2017. Enjoy talking about the arts and the light side of life, especially with couchsurfers. Spending time with people on their adventures gives me the energy and inspiration to live a better life myself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I always want to meet interesting and nice people.
Interests
I spend most of my free time reading and writing fiction. I studied Creative Writing because I knew little else, and I still don't know much of anything else.
Other than fiction it's my friends that make my life worth living. I like to go hiking and camping with them when they're up for it, but if they're not then it's always fun just to sit, cook together, and watch a film or something.
When I want to relax, I like to play my guitar. It's not meditation, but it serves the same purpose for me.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Joy Division, The Smiths, David Bowie, alt-j, Frank Ocean, Kendrick Lamar, Told Slant, Nick Cave, XXXTENTACION, and lots more.
Films: The Godfather (parts one and two), Taxi Driver, Blue Velvet (and anything by David Lynch), The Remains of the Day, and lots more.
Books: The good stuff; Proust, Kafka, Ishiguro, Carver, Hemingway, Kundera, Dostoyevsky...I could go on.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Every now and then I like to move somewhere new, where I've never been and don't know anyone, and build a life from nothing. It keeps life new. And I can take my tent with me and live happily for months at a time.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A relaxing time and good conversation. If you're interested in the arts, then that's awesome, but I get on with anyone if I can see they're a good, honest person.
