ABOUT ME

We (Sam & Fidji) use this profile as a married couple.

We are both 22 years old and students in France. Sam studies software and IT engineering and Fidji is in med school. Our studies are quite time consuming but as soon as we have some free time we love running, skiing, swimming, hiking and almost every sport on earth. We also love cinema and hanging out with friends. Fidji's an expert in cooking (French foood, yummy!) and she loves it: her specialties are crepes and ratatouille LOL (wanna taste?).

We both love travelling and helping others so it's even better when we can do both. We just got married a few months ago, and we've taken a year sabbatical to travel all through Asia (basically from India all the way through Indonesia)!

We can't wait to meet some of you to get to know you and your culture, as well as to share with you some of our lovely French culture!

Life is a book and people who don’t travel only get to read one page!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are currently on a tour of Asia so we won't be able to host until we get back to our hometown in Lyon, France. We are looking for couchsurfers willing to host us during this crazy year.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've had a three great CS experiences during this current sabbatical year, all of them in India!

Interests

Since we've moved in together, we love to invite people over for dinner. Almost all of our free evenings are spent eating tasty French plates and hanging around with friends.
We're also both avid readers. We especially love French literature. We also love cinema, traveling, and cooking.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I (Fidji) was in Tunisia our car got stuck in the sand in the middle of the desert and we had to stay there for 6 hours without food or drinks (until someone came to pick us up). The night started to fall... it was wonderful!

Another wonderful moment during my travels (Fidji) where the thunderstorms in Chad! Nature is wild in Africa! I looove it!

Teach, Learn, Share

- Fidji loves cooking, she has a great experience in traveling and can teach you some tasty French recipes
- Sam is an expert in computers, able to help anyone with a computer problem
