I've been bartending in Oregon for the past two years, trying to pay off loans. I moved here from Virginia where I was working on a farm and studying peacebuilding & development. Before that, I lived in Ramallah (a city just north of Jerusalem) where I was working with a few different organizations. The year before that, I backpacked around Europe for a few months staying in Buddhist and Catholic monasteries. That was after a year of studying philosophy and music composition in Oregon. That's been my adult life! Headed back to the middle east at the end of the year.

I'm driving across the country for a job opportunity in Oregon. I was going to school in Harrisonburg, VA and have been staying in Richmond, IN working odd jobs to get enough money to finish going west. My plan was to sleep in my car until a friend recommended that I try couch surfing.

I have a bunch of Oreos, Fig Newtons and Chips Ahoy which I pulled out of a dumpster (they're sealed and not expired hahah) and I'd happily share them! I also have instruments with me and love playing music with people.
