ABOUT ME

Happy, laid back, (quite funny, I think so anyway) guy. Grew up in England, have lived in Cambridge, London and Milton Keynes. Also lived In Edmonton, Canada, and Bern, Switzerland for a year.

Currently studying for a PhD in Geology, so love travelling the world, finding new spectacular scenery, but love exploring new cities too, and that is so much easier and more fun with interesting people to share a beer with, or just go walking with.

I like meeting new people in their cities, to discover the places only the locals go, and showing people where I like to go. Also like to meet fellow travelers and find out about new places to visit! And meeting new people is never a bad thing, I just love talking, exploring and having fun

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Pretty new to this. I've always enjoyed meeting travelers and exploring places. Hosted 3 times with my previous housemates, and happy to host again with my new ones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once was a having a few beers in Switzerland, a random man came up to me and said, 'you're the type of person I need!' He persuaded me to come with him, I ended up auditioning for a play, whilst I was a bit drunk, and have never acted before. 3 months later I was on stage performing to over 200 people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot about rocks (sometimes I forget this isn't interesting, and keep talking about them anyway, if I do that, just tell me to shut up). I love talking about the natural world, politics, architecture,, but nothing too serious, the most important thing is to laugh.

What I Can Share with Hosts

It depends on what type of host you are! If you just want to be a quiet type and just let me get on, I can be quiet and independent and not bother you. If you are up for doing things, then so am I, it's why I'm couch surfing. I'm always happy to help around the house, clean up if I make a mess, I like cooking (but am not very good). And hopefully we can share a really good time and a good laugh
