Living in Medellin for a few months!

I am here learning Spanish, looking to teach some English, and explore Colombia.

I have a very adventurous soul, one that is very bad at planning long-term. I go with the flow. The flow has taken me to many places around the globe, including Israel, Europe, India, Thailand, and now to Colombia. I lived in Thailand for 1 year teaching English most recently.

In Thailand, I did a 10-day silent meditation retreat, and ever since then my meditation routine is going strong. I love discussing and sharing my experiences with that.

I love so many different things, I cast a very wide net over my interests. These include playing sports, riding motorcycles, and discussing current events and global politics.

I may soon enter flight school to become a pilot, but I am not yet done exploring a little bit of the globe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people on a very personal, casual basis, and there's no better way to do this than staying in each other's home. If I had my own home to offer, I would absolutely open it up to world travelers.

And of course, it feels good to stay places yet not spend so much money! I love being in Colombia in part because I don't feel like I'm draining my finances, and this goes even further when I find cheap and free places to sleep.
