Overview
About Me
Raised in a small mountain town, I spent the first 16 years of my life blissfully unaware of the world beyond my peaks. But a chance encounter with a European exchange program opened my eyes to the vastness of our planet and ignited a passion for exploration. Every opportunity to meet new people, hear their stories, and share my own is a gem. For me, every penny spent on travel is an investment in personal growth.
Music is the constant companion on my journey, and I’m always on the hunt for fresh sounds – from pop to experimental granular synthesis. My love for storytelling extends to my work as well, where I’ve been fortunate enough to turn my passion for capturing reality on film into a career. Whether I’m directing, operating the camera, or writing scripts, I’m in my element.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To truly immerse oneself in a new place, there’s no better way than to connect with the locals. They offer unique insights, share their stories and perspectives, and can reveal hidden gems that would otherwise go unnoticed. Engaging with people from different walks of life is an opportunity for personal growth, and being open to new experiences can lead to a deeper understanding of oneself.

Music, Movies, and Books
My musical tastes are eclectic, ranging from the smooth sounds of classic swing and cool jazz to the contemporary stylings of artists like Oscar Jerome, Masego, and Tom Misch. I also have a soft spot for electronic, experimental, and hip-hop music. When it comes to film, the one that had the greatest emotional impact on me was Requiem for a Dream. I’m an avid reader and have recently been branching out into new genres, but my heart belongs to dystopian fiction – particularly Philip K. Dick’s Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?
