CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME
I'm a middle school English teacher in a dual language program. I write whenever I can (poetry, articles). I spend as much time outdoors as possible, skiing, fly-fishing, hiking etc. Besides that, I'm very social and love to spend time at the local tap-room trying out the newest IPA. My reply rate would be perfect but I got a creepy request from some dude trying to track someone down so I laid low for a while but I'm back and ready to host!
PHILOSOPHY
Be honest with yourself and what's really important.

Music, Movies, and Books
oh, boy...lots. I'm a big fan of Italo Calvino, Denise Levertov, Li-Young Lee, Donald Miller, Paul Tillich. My individual fav's (apart from the previously mentioned folk) are The Brothers Karamozov, Hundred Years of Solitude, Unbearable Lightness of Being, Christ Stopped at Eboli, the Abruzzi Triology..yeah, I'll stop there.
Music? I'm just going to mention Beirut 'cause not everyone's heard of them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I saw George Bush re-elected. How the hell did that happen? In Santa Fe, I once saw a mouse on top of a cat on top of a dog. It was pretty cool.
