About Me
I am a working professional in the web development world. I have a programming background, but ended up switching into project management. I love computers, video games, and technology, but also enjoy the outdoors and exploring the world. I've been in Denver for about a year and a half now and love it, although sometimes I miss the lakes and peacefulness of the Northwoods in Wisconsin. I also love philosophy, eSports, writing, trying new things, and meditating. I adopted a puppy named Ellie last year and have had a blast raising her, training, and checking out dog parks.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've only surfed one time when I first moved to Denver, but it was a really great experience and wanted to return the favor to the couchsurfing community. I'm currently living alone in a 2-bedroom apartment by Cheesman park and figured why let the room sit empty? Might as well open it up to other adventurers who need a place to crash!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like electronic music, documentaries, sci fi and fantasy, and LOTS of podcasts. Partially Examined Life, 99% Invisible, Story Collider, IQ2 Debates, and Acquisitions Incorporated (we recently started playing D&D for fun) are some of my favorites.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Back in Wisconsin I decided one day to move to Denver. I crammed my belongings in a van, sold everything else, pocketed a bit of cash, and drove out to Denver. I didn't have a job or apartment lined up so I couchsurfed for a week while frantically looking for somewhere to stay. I managed to find a fellow Wisconsinite who owned a house and they let me sign a lease without a job lined up. Then I sent out applications like crazy and managed to find the job I have right now. It was kind of a risky move, but everything lined up within a couple weeks which was pretty amazing. I'm looking to take the leap again in a year or two and explore another part of the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know lots of stuff about computers, video games, and websites!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a large L-shaped couch, a private guest bedroom and guest bathroom. Bedroom has a futon, although I won't lie, it's not super comfortable. I'm looking to get a thick pad for it though. I have a couple extra blankets, some basics for the bathroom, french-press coffee maker, place to eat in the kitchen, lots of left-over beer from my last roomie, stuff like that.
