Hi. My name is Samuel, and I grew up in China, packed up my bags, and moved to Perth, Australia when I was 18 to study business and information science. Since then, I've moved to Copenhagen, Denmark and have been working on my master's degree. I love to travel and meet people, make food and eat food, and lots of running. I just completed my first full marathon (May 2015) because I enjoy running and prioritize fitness.

I'm also currently working in New York City after completing my Master degree in the UK since April 2017.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on CS because I like meeting people from different places and sharing experiences. I would definitely like to travel more and see more countries, and so hopefully CS can help with that. I'd like to be able to host at some point when I'm more settled.

Interests

My interests include fitness, running 3x a week, biking, taking photos with my SLR camera, reading, playing my ukulele, meeting new people, and occasionally and randomly running a marathon when I feel like spontaneously killing my feet.

Music, Movies, and Books

Other than traditional Chinese music, I also enjoy listening to light (and relaxing) music. I like reading western and historical books, magazines (social science type). Not really big on movies, but I do occasionally indulge in the American TV series like Grace and Frankie. I also sing in my language school's choir.
