About Me

ABOUT ME

Hello! I recently moved from Portland Oregon back to my hometown just outside of Chicago. Part of this move was me starting my new business Festi-Bowl which is a plant based festival vendor. This allows me to follow my passion of sharing vegan food along with my passion of traveling!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While in the past I have hosted quite a few individuals both through couch surfing and on my own at the moment I am travelling a lot with my business and would love to connect with progressive people in beautiful places that can host me between events

I am currently backpacking the Middle East starting with Israle around December 3-11, Jordan around December 11-14 and Egypt December 15-25. Part of this trip is based on a life pact with a close friend of mine who passed this last year to go to Egypt and see the Great Pyramids and Valley of the Kings. I am specifically looking for a host that would allow me to plant a tree in his memory on their property (or know a good place) where other friends/family of his could potentially visit.

Interests

I love traveling, camping, hiking, event production, snowboarding, MTG, vegan food, cooking, entrepreneurship, and live music.

Bluegrass, Jam Bands, Grateful Dead, String Cheese Incident, Ishmael, Brave New World, Shawshank Redemption, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2014 I spent a summer college break hitchhiking all over Europe with very little money. It was one of the most liberating experiences of my life and gave me a level of comfortably even if I don't have everyday comforts people often take for granted in America or other first world countries.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belize, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Germany, Guatemala, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Vatican City State
