One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2013 I took money that I had been saving up since I was 16 and bought a sailboat, I moved aboard the boat and sailed it to Puerto Rico. Living aboard a sailboat is a rigorous and exciting lifestyle, not to mention all the traveling and all the people I met along the way. After spending about 6 months cruising through the Bahamas, in which time I discovered I had a hidden talent for freediving and spearfishing, I can hold my breath for more then 2:30 and dive to 80 ft all while fighting a fish or scooping up some lobster, we departed san salvador island, the eastern most island of the Bahama island chain, and sailed 4 days on the Atlantic Ocean to arrive in Puerto Rico. In my travels I taught many people how to sail and navigate both open ocean and shallow water, I learned many survival skills, honed my seamanship, and many more things, to much to put here in this little space. I've since sold the boat and plan on upgrading once I've met the love of my life...who knows what the future holds in store? No one, but no matter what happens, im always ready(; stay positive!

Teach, Learn, Share

One side of my family is from the city and educated, and the otherside of my family is from the country and though uneducated are highly skilled and knowledable. The country folk are farmers, and to be a successful farmer requires so many skills and such a wide range of knowledge it is a school in and of itself. To meet the high expectations of both sides of the family I had to learn many things and prove myself in many ways, and in the course of doing so, I have acquired many skills, in addition to the multitude of things I have learned on my own, some of which include:

Sailing and open ocean navigation
Spearfishing
Freediving
Operate and Maintain Heavy Machinery
excavators, tractors,
Heavy Trucks and traiilers
combines.
Mechanic
Fiberglass fabrication and finishing
Plumbing
Painting
commercial, industrial, residential,
automotive, marine, aero

In addition to all of these things I hold a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Science.
If im staying with you, im not looking for a free ride. Im willing to help with anything i can, just ask (:
