Hi guys! I'm Sam and I've recently graduated from university, so I've taken a job teaching English in Spain for the next year. I'll be living in the Balearic Islands and I hope to do some travelling in Europe, I hope I can meet some great new people - and maybe have a beer or two as well.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to couchsurfing, so I'm hoping to try it out while travelling and then hopefully host some travellers when I'm all set up in Spain!

I love languages and writing - I went on an exchange to France in high school and to Chile in university and I have written stories, poetry and essays that have been published online and in magazines. Whenever I want to learn about a country I try to read its favourite authors, and then to experience it for myself.

I have worked for a cinema for a while now so I guess I see a lot of films too, and I'm a big fan of rock music, mostly British.
