About Me

I'm a spontaneous, open-minded and outgoing person. Bit of a scribbler and a lot of a backpacker. For the last years I've lived a nomad kind of a life working short periods back in Finland and hitting the road for a few months afterwards. Now I'm enjoying a life back in routines for a while.

In my free time I keep myself busy with friends and do a bit of sports every now and then. Movies, music and food are other keywords to my main interests.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing always seemed like a great way to combine both socializing and budget traveling. I got treated so well on a few of my journeys that I've been recently mostly hosting people myself to return the favor for the community.

For me, this site has been an a great way to meet like-minded and exceptionally inspirational and amazing people!

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favourite directors are such as Christopher Nolan, Stanley Kubrick and Quentin Tarantino. Few stunning movies worth mentioning are The Intouchables, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Interstellar, Joker and Captain Fantastic to start with.

From music section I listen to pretty much everything but am mostly interested in indie rock, synth pop and metal. Favourite bands? Let's go with Sigur Ros, Lord Huron, Nothing But Thieves, Mew and Turmion Kätilöt.

I've gotten into books recently and often find myself reading non-fiction books about history, self-help or such. I'm also into travel books and am working on one myself :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I do have a few interesting stories to tell from traveling Iran during a conflict to hiking to 4500 meters in Nepal, and more.

Teach, Learn, Share

Obviously, I'll try my very best to trade some interesting knowledge about our cultures. We may as well do some cooking together or whatever it is that you are the most interested in.
