I'm a PhD student in political theory working on my dissertation at Duke University, but I'm living now in Lima, Peru, where my girlfriend is spending the year making films! I've been lucky enough to travel quite a bit in my life, and when I'm on the road, I love to discover history, people, and especially food.

I've traveled alone a lot, and it's always so much nicer when you have a chance to meet someone where you are! I haven't formally couch-surfed that much, but I had a great experience when I did.
