About Me

I come from the land of colours, the land of spices and the land of a more than 100 languages; India the land of diversity. I consider myself sooooo lucky to have born in a place with a lot of life... lot of diversity... lot of spirituality and a lot of nature... Being born there gave me a lot of perspectives; and i would say the country itself, due to its diverse nature taught me life...This helped me to look at people differently, life differently and to think differently...

I would recommend anyone who does not appreciate life or who thinks that they have a boring life; to travel from the South to the North of my country and experience what life really is... I really think you will change your perspectives on everything.. by travelling i dont mean travelling as a tourist, but if you try to travel like a local you will definitely learn a lot of things in life that you might not ever have thought about before...

This is one of my favorite video which sums up a bit of the history of my country. It is highly enlightening and very educational. Totally worth every minute of your time. If you watched the video and found it interesting, let me know what your thoughts are?

When I travel, I like to choose the person and not the place because travelling for me is always about the people I meet and the memories I share.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing for me is really about shared attitudes, shared emotions, values that make us who we are. I like to see people as who they are.

Interests

A child at heart.. always wanting to learn and explore!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have a friend who has a pet elephant.
I was ran over by a bus once.
I was a paddling for a Dragonboat team (but never really learned to swim).
Watched a shooting star with a couchsurfing couple on my balcony while one of them made a wish.
Climbed the Himalayas with a sneaker.
Stayed in a hut made of mud in the top of Himalayas where there was no water, electricity, heating or phone and yet managed to survive.
Believing in the goodness of people no matter all the shit tonnes of bad experiences.
Got scammed in my own country (The scammers were too good).
Got my wallet stolen in Singapore and survived a week with zero money.
Ask me in person and I will tell you more....

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe that every person has a story to share, no matter where they are from what they do or where they are going. There might always be some experiences in their life that are worth listening to..

I can always borrow you my bike if I am hosting you. I can go climbing or bouldering with you? If you want to know about Ayurveda or traditional Indian plant based medicine, I can also share what I know.

I can also tell you about my favourite Indian story tellers!!

I mostly cook some traditional Indian food and Chai for my surfers. So if you love eating spicy food, you are welcome to try..

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories about my country and interesting things about my home town, which is surrounded by sea and fresh water lakes and sometimes with a lot of house boats that float in the fresh water lakes and a lot of elephants. :)

Whenever i am hosting someone i try to share part of my culture and country with my surfers... I can also make a wonderful cup of traditional Indian Tea and teach you how to cook good curries..
