ABOUT ME

I graduated with a degree in philosophy, which was interesting but left me knowing less than I did when I started. So I'm still figuring out what to do with my life. Probably I always will be. Currently based in South London, but often travelling, sometimes teaching English, sometimes organising events / working at festivals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing and hosting when possible... often in less formal ways outside of this website. I tend to pick up lost wanderers, as I am regularly one myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A charming 18 year old hosted me in the little hippie town of Totnes, England, and a wonderful French polymath lady hosted me in Paris last summer... I then hosted a Filipino philosopher dude last autumn. So far, great people, good times! More please.

Interests

Music! Listening to and making. I play guitar, drums, clarinet, and will attempt to play anything else you can get a sound out of... I just came back from organising a live improvisational project at Nowhere (Europe's answer to Burning Man). I also collect old soul / jazz / blues / weird stuff on vinyl.

DJing outside a Buddhist temple in Japan and getting a monk to dance to the Ghostbuster's theme tune. That was a good day.
