I'm 26, 5'8", and Vietnamese. Yes, I know.. I'm quite tall for an Asian girl. My friends would describe me as somewhat fobby (I was born here, really!) with a tendency towards a more manly personality. Don't worry, I still retain typical girly qualities such as being deathly afraid of bugs and an attraction towards all things cute and fluffy among others. I have a sarcastic sense of humor with the majority of my friendships with others involve us teasing and making fun of each other.

I enjoy cooking and I can make bomb fried rice even though I don't like fried rice that much LOL. Also, I can bake awesome nutella & peanut butter cookies. I'm pretty sensitive to salty and super sweet foods and have a lower tolerance for them than most people. I loveeeee spicy and sour foods though. I'm kind of a closet fatty too. I loveee eating good food! Butttt, while I like the red pepper spice, I actually hate the texture of peppers. I think different brands of water taste differently. Don't tell me they all taste the same, cuz they don't!

I'm probably one of the most oblivious persons you'll ever meet in your life. When you say women have a bad sense of direction, think me LOL. You could give me directions to drive somewhere and I would totally not know how to get back to our starting place afterwards XD I also have a tendency to forget where I parked my car and wander the parking lot like a lost puppy pressing on my car lock remote to find my car since I'm too embarrassed to use the panic button to find my car LOL.

Despite my slight quirks, I'm a pretty reliable person. I'm always paranoid of being late and keep my word. I'm usually the one people go to for advice or just need someone to talk to. I can be your very own secretkeeper! I'm very nonconfrontational and usually avoid arguments if I can help it. I'm actually somewhat shy and not that outgoing, although I am working on it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I actually created an account a few years back, but never used it. Over the years however, I've realized that it's amazing how some people you meet for only a short time could end up being a lifelong friend vs those you may have known for a long time, and yet that friendship could never reach the same depth.

Honestly, one of my life goals is to make as many "soul" friends in various cities and countries as possible and I think CS is going to a wonderful avenue for that.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music wise, I suppose I tend to lean towards the Asian stereotype as I enjoy EDM. I do like the top 40, hip hop, R&B as well, but I don't really listen to the radio much so I'm probably way out of the loop with whats hip nowadays.

Horror movies and action type movies are the only ones I'll watch, and I absolutely can't stand watching romantic comedies and chick flicks.

The old classic Bugs Bunny cartoons is probably my favorite show of all time (yes, I know, I'm such a kid). Aside from that, I like crime shows such as Sherlock, House, CSI Miami, Law & Order SVU, Bones, etc. However, I don't really watch TV anymore, and Sherlock is the only one I actually keep up with.
