Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Coming from UWC I have heard amazing experiences from CS so here I am to try it - I love to indulge in getting to know the city through the locals and to get to meet new people! :)
Interests
Way too many things!!
Music, Movies, and Books
It's almost impossible for me to compile any of the things that I like under the label 'favourite' - there are just way too many. But I can't live without music - my taste is very diverse and vast - From Schubert to alt-J, Cigarettes after Sex to The Beach Boys, old Turkish music to Leonard Cohen, Keaton Henson to Persian oldies-goldies. There is just way too many...
I love books also, but I have recently grown out of the avid reader I was, and write more often than read...
And lastly, It doesn't happen often that I can convince myself to sit down and stare at a screen for two hours, but there are movies I have really enjoyed watching - Leon the Professional, Twice Born, The Three of Life, Samsara, Baraka, Home, Beautiful Minds, The Painted Veil, V For Vendetta, and many more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living.
And another was teaching, which makes you even more lively!! I was teaching to children in a school in a village in Cambodia, sleeping in hammocks on a farm full of pigs, showering in a stream, stretched out of my comfort zone but having the most blissful, most gratifying and most life-lessons-teaching moments of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
That's to be done in person!
