About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To experience the beauty of the world in all aspects - nature, buildings, people, food, entertainment. To get out of my comfort zone and try new things.

ABOUT ME

I am a very curious person. If I could I would constantly be exploring. I want to some day be able to say that I've been to every country in the world. I'm way too friendly and have an adventurous flair even though I'm not very sporty but I try. I'm always wanting to try new things and I enjoy eating different cuisines, especially love sweets. I absolutely love learning about new cultures and meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

Have no regrets.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would probably be out and about for most of the time but part of the experience of traveling includes getting to know new people and what better way to do that than through couchsurfing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't tried it yet but friends have recommended it highly.

Interests

I am fascinated by all elements of architecture and design so I gear my travels towards iconic buildings and structures but I equally enjoy natural beauty. Sometimes a picnic in the sun is all I need. Other times I find myself stimulated by the energy of a city. Mostly it's the people and the food that really make my vacations memorable.

Music, Movies, and Books

My tastes are wide ranging. I've recently gotten into classical literature. I watch all sorts of movies, absolutely love going to the cinema. Music varies with my mood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just picking one amazing memory is impossible. During my trip to Spain, I stayed in a cave home in Granada, that overlooked the Alhambra castle. The view and the ambiance was just breathtaking. During this same trip, I had a picnic between two canyons and saw some cave drawings that were tens of thousands of years old. Another memory that resonates with me is the blue waters on the beach in Trinidad while I ate some baked shark. Architecturally, I was overwhelmed by the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul and the secular vibe of the nation.

Teach, Learn, Share

It's the most incredible experience having a local introduce you to their city. You get insider tips, and make some great friends.
