Overview
About Me
I'm a native New Yorker, performing poet, writer, ball of anxiousness, always chasing light + fire, somehow a functioning adult, lover of extremely intense conversations 30 seconds into meeting people (tell me all about your childhood traumas while I make weird consolation noises in agreement), run on sentencer - I'm Sana. I like to talk. I like to travel. I like to exist.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Currently embarking on a month long cross country road trip/move from my home in New York City to San Diego, while living in a rental car. I hear they're not too comfy to sleep in. Also, I would probably end up wandering a highway alone, and would rather have locals show me around their cities. I like meeting people, and my motto through the entire planning of this move has been BUILD THE WEB OF SUPPORT - so I'm spreading that web even further.

Music, Movies, and Books
WAY TOO MANY. I've had Khalid's album American Teen on repeat the past few days. This will change in two days tops. I love horror movies. LOVE. I like cheesy teen novels even though I'm a grown ass woman.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
THIS. I decided FUCK IT, STARTING A NEW LIFE, and decided to pack 24 years of life into one suitcase, rent a car, and go start over somewhere else.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you're in school, I can help with any papers! I'm a great editor. I can also pet your dog if you want. I'm a great listener, and I'm probably not connected to any of your friends, so if you just want to show me around your city and tell me about all your secrets and fears and hopes and dreams for three hours that's actually totally okay, too (and has happened before).
