I am an artist, educator, researcher, cultural worker and part-time wanderer! I have lived in Chicago for five years, where I went to graduate school. I call Tehran and Chicago both home cities, and love them both!

I think this is the best way to know a place and experience the city you are visiting. I have been lucky and have met amazing people while Couchsurfing. I really like to share and tell stories and be part of the community of travelers. It is a great way of being against the commercialized tourist industry as well.
