I'm just another traveler trying to make his way through the world!

I grew up in California
Studied abroad in Germany
Moved to Thailand when I was 23 and spent a great 3+ years there
Currently I'm based out of Taiwan

So what am i doing now? I resigned from my job in April 2015 so I could go back to school and study Mandarin. But before I do that, I'm taking time off to travel!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always had the best times traveling with locals, and I hope to meet some fun and interesting people that can show me around their country. And also, I'm unemployed and trying to get around the world economically - I've always wanted to try couchsurfing but haven't done it yet!

Interests

I like many things but besides traveling my two main interests are tinkering with anything mechanical or electrical, music (I play drums in a band in Taiwan). Aside from that I enjoy strong coffee in the morning and a well-made dry martini at night.
