Hi! I am currently a final year medical student at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, USA. Graduating this May and specializing in Cardiothoracic Surgery (heart surgery).

I was born in India, but moved to the US at a very young age. I grew up (mostly) in Chicago, and then studied biomedical engineering before going into medical school.

My family and I LOVE to travel. I spend about 1 month a year in India, but have also travelled to Canada, Mexico, Peru, Singapore, France, Italy, Greece, and many other places. Some of my favorite trips so far have been hiking in the Himalayas in Nepal and Tibet, and camping in the Amazon Rainforest in Peru.

I live in a tiny studio in the Streeterville neighborhood and am happy to host people coming to Chicago or to just meet up/show you around!

I love traveling and experiencing places as the people who actually live there do. I also enjoy showing friends/guests around Chicago and taking them to all the amazing places to see - those well known and those not-as-well known. Most of all, I'm an extrovert and love connecting with people from all around the world! It's really cool to learn about different cultures but also see how similar people can be.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I am a professional violinist, specializing in Indian classical music. I started playing when I was 6 years old and have performed over 800 concerts in venues around the world so far. My favorite place to perform was the Madras Music Academy in Chennai, India. I play classical music but love all kinds of music - I'm always looking for new styles of music to listen to or to sing/play!
