Overview
About Me
I like to walk around with my cat on my shoulders.
My passion is music, I play in two bands and love to get lost in an endless ocean of sound. Open to meeting new people, having ABSURD, fun or deep conversations. Not a big fan of loud and busy parties.
I'm the guy that gets too excited about the idea of playing games during long car journeys. I have also noticed that I'm often the only guy like that and that this excessive enthusiasm can be the reason why the group finally decides against playing the game.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
1. Give people a place to crash
2. Find a place to crash
3. Turn strangers into companions. But I see that as a nice possible bonus. Sometimes travelers are tired and JUST want to crash, not want to talk and that's also completely fine by me.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Guess I like music that comes from dark places, written by people that were rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreallly high on drugs. My favorite band is Tool.
Movies: My favorite movie is Sharknado 5: Global Swarming. Just kidding. Any movie with a good story can excite me. Except for cult horror/sci-fi movies, cause I have an unhealthy fetish for them and I'm way too chill about forgiving them their poor storylines.
Books: Any book that makes me sit on the train or toilet (or both) way longer than necessary.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Threw a slice of pizza in the starting phase of a fight. It scared our opponents enough for them to leave us alone.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about music, show some guitar songs on guitar / ukelele in all kinds of genres. I can teach you about stars and planets. I can teach you to see the beauty and the many deep personality layers of my cat Freddy. I can teach you how to cook some nice Belgian meals.
I'm a curious type and open to learning new stuff, in whatever subject. A while ago, someone taught me a new and better way to peel a banana and I'm still very grateful for that enrichment to my life. So show me what you got!
What I Can Share with Hosts
My music, my -at best- mildly entertaining stories, my food, my knowledge of Ghent, my bathroom and my couch. It's big enough for 2 people so feel free to bring along a friend.
