About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finishing my first game (http://scealthegame.com) and hoping to take a month or two off during the summer (2016) to defrag my head and reconnect with the real world after 2 years of hardcore pressure. Note - I no longer live in Bratislava but haven't had time to update my profile properly. I can't host right now anyways :(
ABOUT ME
I often look cross due to the unibrow but it scares off the crows so there's a sunny side to it.Generally easy going bloke with ample curiosity about whatever's going on around me. Bit of a daydreamer but that's part of being a designer I think. Travel / nature / books / food and being around quirky, happy people make up a large part of what I think makes for a good life.I've just moved to Ljubljana in Slovenia and happily lost in the whole thing of getting to grips with it. Awesome place!
PHILOSOPHY
Simply put - life takes care of itself - and doesn't lend itself to over analysis.
Some guidelines I use:
1) try to minimise my impact / tread lightly
2) accept responsibility for my actions and encourage others to do the same (maybe it is your fault that I'm hungover today)
3) Promote vegan cuisine through tasty and thought provoking meals (the 'actions' not 'words' approach)
4) Buyer beware :)
5) Y esto cuanto vale en euros?

Interests
Travel is a big interest for me. Not so much the museums and stag nights but the feeling of being able to call a new city home.
I am a 'good to quite good' vegetarian cook and enjoy cooking Italian and Indian dishes. You are welcome to try my 'Natural Selection Curry' and teach me something new.
Languages are also a bit of a hobby - whenever I travel somewhere I always like to be able to communicate to people in the local language.
Videogames, being my career, are also a major interest for me. Aside from studying them, I like to get lost in a good game of Homeworld or Civilisation every now and then.
Snowboarding is a hobby I took up last winter and I really enjoyed it - nothing like that crisp air to evaporate a hangover.
Also, kyaking used to be a big hobby of mine, though I've let it slip the last few years.
And recently I've started learning to play squash. That means lots of running into walls at high speed or spining around and falling over plus occasionally scoring a point.
Oh, I guess I should clarify that being Irish, I do like to drink lots of beer, especially Guinness (and yes, it does somehow manage to taste better in Ireland - maybe they just know how to pour it?)

Visiting Disney world in Florida as a child (its amazing when you're 10).
There was also that time when a raven led me up a snowy mountainside...
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you everything there is to know. Yeah, that's probably worth giving over your couch for a night or two, eh? I'm your man if you want to practice languages. Especially when I've had a few beers and am mixing them together.
Also, more than happy to share some fun vegan food - my focus is on easy to cook dishes with simple flavours. If you've got half an hour, I guarantee you'll walk away with some awesome new flavours to impress with.
