About Me

UPDATE: I would kindly ask surfers to send requests only if they are staying for two nights or more (if you are here over the weekend) or three nights or more (if you are here during weekdays). The reason is that, for us, interacting with surfers is a big part of the CS experience. If you are here for only one night we may not have flexibility to give you the attention you deserve. Hi, My name is Alfredo and I live in Sao Paulo. A few facts about myself: 1) I love CouchSurfing and traveling. I went around the world for a year Couchsurfing once; 2) I love to share. I live in a large apartment (120sqm/1300sqf) in Sao Paulo, and love to have people around; 3) I love to study/learn and that includes learning from people with the most diverse backgrounds. Thanksfully Couchsurfing allows me to interact with people who are very different from me and that’s something I really cherish.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel. Once upon a time I traveled the entire world (more than 30 countries) through Couchsurfing. That's why I love it so much. How else would you go to a completely unknown place and have someone help you, share with you, be willing to hang out and interact? I feel extremely grateful for all the positive experiences this community has allowed me to have. So the reason I'm here is to give back, to allow travelers have a good time as well.

Interests

I love philosophy, specially stoicism, japanese food, seafood, running, unusual people, technology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2011, I quit my job and traveled the world for almost a year. And it was all through couchsurfing, a great time in my life. I discovered something amazing about the world: That people are good. People are good, generous, want to share, want to interact. That gave me a very positive perspective about life and humanity.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Our place is gratefully very comfortable, we have a lot of space and can host up to 2 travelers (1 in bed and 1 on the sofa). I will be happy to hang out and show you around. Especially during weekends, since during weekdays I work a lot. There are a lot of places to go out near our apartment, bars, restaurants, parks. Lot of stuff to show you!
