About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Discovering everything : places, people, cultures...

ABOUT ME

Hi everybody!
How can I say about me?? Without being too proud of me, I believe that I'm an happy and easy going woman. I really value to keep my open mind, it's a reason to travel. In fact, I love travelling! to see beautiful places, great buildings (I'm an architect), change my mood and mind... and also to meet people! Because, for me, getting new experiences and meeting people are good reasons to love and enjoy life!

When I travel, I walk all the day through streets to hunt comtemporary buildings, architecture and public places.

I have been living in Paris for 3 years, with my husband Rachid. He loves travelling too, trip are one of our commun passion...

PHILOSOPHY

Hard question... :
Stay myself... Enjoy people and life... (It's not very original... :) )

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy talk with people who like travel, and about foreign cultures.
I like couchsurfing to learn how people see currently their city. And also because they often have good plans to visit by another way from tourists.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I really discovered couchsurfing the 2009 New Year eve, in Amsterdam. It was a huge couchsurfers meeting. It was really exiting to meet and discuss with people from all around the world.
After that I decided to improve my English to communicate better. So, I studied English in New York and travelled through the United States. I had many couchsurfing experiences during this time. I could visit cities by another way from tourists. I really liked that.
I travelled in Germany, Scandinavia, Portugal, Japan and Scotland; and more recently I'm trying to visit and know better my new home around Montreal (So I traveled in Gaspésie, Toronto, North East of USA). I shared again interesting discussions and beautiful moments.
I love more and more to travel by this way and I want to multiply these moments.
My next travel will be in Mexico during 2 months, and I'm planning a road trip there.

Interests

My main interests are architecture, travels, sociology and photography. I also like reading , movies, and meeting new people of course ...etc

Music, Movies, and Books

It depends of my mood...

For music, I prefer listening pop rock music (like Muse and Cold Play) or electronic music when I exercise and when I'm happy. When I'm little sad, I listen typical French song (Francis Cabrel for example). When I'm little angry and that I want to change the world, I prefer alternative French song with urged speech (like La Rue Ketanou, Agnes Bihl, Tryo). And when I'm relaxed, I listen folk music; and classic music when I'm working.

About film, I like comedy when I'm tired. But I really like films with intelligent scenario like "Collision" or "21 grams". In all mood, I looove Hayao Miyazaki film!!!

For books, I prefer real story. Currently, I read a lot about sociology because I'd like to continue my studies in this passion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done two crazy thing in my life :
- Leaving my country just before my studies to live with my ex in Morroco.
- Quit my job and all my habits to study English in New York.
- Quit another job and Life again in Paris to restart my studies and everything in Montreal.

Otherwise, I travelled... but not enough in my opinion...

Teach, Learn, Share

As I want to share ours cultures and ideas about life.
I also like discussing about architecture. Usually, Couchsurfers that I visit are curious about what interesting new buildings and places I'm gonna see. It's an honor for me to share about my passion.
