PHILOSOPHY

I am alarmed by the environmental destruction wrought by industrial civilization and feel that major changes need to be made -- soon -- in the way we humans are living our lives on this planet.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've had a great time traveling and 'surfing (to New York, Connecticut, Philadelphia, Southern Wisconsin, and more) and have enjoyed hosting other travelers.

I have had only positive couchsurfing experiences! This is such a great idea!

I enjoy kirtans and try to experience at least one Dave Stringer event each year.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen a tornado touch down in southern Missouri.

I am an advocate of do-it-yourself homebirthing (no doctors or midwives necessary). I gave birth to my children this way -- an amazing experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know several songs from the Dances of Universal Peace and can teach a few simple dances.
I've taught art and writing classes to all ages: preschoolers to adults.
I've been a vegetarian for 41 years, so I know a lot about veggie food prep. Recently I've switched to eating mostly raw-and-live foods, so I'm learning about un-cooking, too.
