ABOUT ME

Keep myself busy writing for a mountain bike website, I love mountainbiking and being out and about adventuring! Along with riding I like surfing, just learning (very shakily) how to slackline, juggling (need to learn some tricks!) reading, drawing and photography.

I love the outdoors especially the mountains and the beach and enjoy travelling and meeting new people.

I've spent some time working at an American Summer Camp teaching everything from shelter building, outdoor cooking, raft building to mountain biking and climbing. It was by far one of my best summers!

First time with CS, want to experience countries and cultures rather than staying in hotels and learning nothing about the place i'm visiting. Want to learn from other CSers about their homes and share adventures!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a CSer and been to a community meetup, but haven't been able to surf myself yet due to work commitments.

Interests

Recently I've got really interested in self-sustainability, tiny houses and eco living, I'd love to learn more about self-sufficiency and that way of life.

I've recently got back into reading and am devouring books at a quick rate, some of my recent favourites have been: The Grapes of Wrath, Fried Green Tomatoes at Whistlestop Cafe, The Wasp Factory, Tuesdays with Morrie, Hyperbole and a Half...

Movies I tend to forget quite quickly, I enjoy series like Dexter, Being Human, Breaking Bad, Orange is the new Black...

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm very clued up on social networking, blogging and can make a basic website. So am happy to help if you need any tips in this area.

I will happily take couch surfers/hosts mountain biking and teach them any skills, I'm new to juggling but might be able to help you learn too, I like cooking so am happy to help cook/swap recipes.

I'd like to learn how to surf better (spend all my time in the whitewater...) and maybe how to boulder/climb.

Interested in learning about eco projects, dealing with fresh veg, building self-sustainable places, animal care.
