I recently moved to New York from St Louis to start graduate school at NYU. I'm trying to enjoy my time here and the city and use it as best as possible, but I am definitely a small-towner at heart.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While I'm here in New York, I'm going to have to be surf-only for a while. Hopefully once I'm done with school, I'll be able to open up my couch again to visitors.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My roommate at my last house signed us up and we met numerous foreign travelers. The times that people with very different experiences than our own stopped by were great to share and learn from each other.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the mountains of California, in the middle of a cloudless night I saw a moonset. The moon was so bright that when it went over the horizon it cast an orange glow over the sky. I will never forget that.
