ABOUT ME
I'm a 19-year-old girl, who lives in Bavaria, Germany. I just finished school and want to see the world. With travelling I want to learn a lot about people, culture and lifestyle in different countries and also about myself and life in general. I would describe myself as honest, reliable and easy-going. I'm a calm person who doesn't need the attention of everybody the whole time. Despite I'm no couchpotatoe, I like going out and having fun, meeting friends and spending a good time with them. And it's always interesting to meet new people, especially from different countries and cultures.

I think live is to short to defer your dreams to retirement. You don't know what will happen tomorrow or in one week, so do what you love to do and don't waste your time with hesitating.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of couchsurfing, as I don't want to see other cultures only as a tourist, but get authentic impressions, how people in foreign countries really live. In my opinion talking to people from other parts of the earth can be very inspiring and always expands my horizons and also the list where I want to go. Couchsurfing is a great way to exchange ideas about life, travel experiences and and just the way of life, which always enriches your life.

Interests

I'm really keen on doing sports. For example I play soccer in a women's team, I love going skiing in the winter and especially in the morning to be the first on the prepared piste before the ski lifts start running. I'm a voluntary coach for gymnastics, where I teach a group of 15 girls at the age of 9 - 11. I like to see them progressing with my help and tips and enjoy watching their success. I love travelling and my aim is to see at least one country on every continent. I've already been to four continents and I hope my journey will continue ;)
Although i can't play very much songs yet, I like teaching myself playing the piano very much because you can relax and just dream and escape the trouble for a short time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For me an amazing thing I've done was to work as an Au Pair for a Australian family because I love children and think its very inspiring to work with them and see how they develop. Although this job can sometimes be very exhausting, the children give you so much love and enrichment for your life. When they start to trust you and show you that they like you, it is one of the best things in the world. And if there are problems you just develop in finding a solution. I think this was a very important experience for my further life and my autonomy and i wouldn't like to do without it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my travel experiences with you for example while having dinner or just have a relaxed evening. I would like to cook you some Bavarian dishes or show you something about the Bavarian cuisine and I also can share my German or Bavarian language with you ;)
If you like sports, I could teach you skiing in the Bavarian mountains or wherever you have snow or mountains :)
