Hi! My name is Sandra, a young traveler.

I'm a university student and also currently working part-time as an English tutor to Japanese students.

I'll describe myself with words my friends often use: thoughtful, caring, hardworking, and independent.

My desire to travel was ignited when I first traveled with my best friend to Taiwan. I saved up for the trip and worked hard for it. I was able to appreciate the experience because I felt independent and I thought that I can be adventurous in life. After that, I booked a ticket to Korea with my friends. I fell in love with the experience. And now, I plan to add more to the list. Right now, my goal is to travel across Asia, where cultures are diverse and unique, and foods are great!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wish to travel the word someday. I don't want to be just a tourist, but I want to meet new people and immerse myself in the culture of others. I want to have conversations and I want to know your perception of the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC
Ever since I visited Korea last Nov 2017, I have been obsessing on BTS (kpop). Other than that, I listen to music of different genres like RNB, Pop, Alternative, etc. I like listening to different kinds of music.

MOVIES
I love Rom-coms and romantic dramas! I also like action movies, which I watch with my dad. I easily cry when watching movies. I also love watching TV shows like How I Met Your Mother, Game of Thrones, Suits, etc., K-dramas, and actually anything worth watching on Netflix.

BOOKS
I'm more of a watcher than a reader.
