Overview
About Me
I'm a 25 years old student at the University of Florence and Bonn. I’m going to complete the Master in Italian-German Studies, a bilateral course in which we study German and Italian literature and linguistics.
I suppose to be a positive and dynamic person, I’m very curious and that’s why I love so much travelling and learning new things about different cultures and meeting people from all over the world.
In my free time I like to read books, listen to music, cycling, meet friends and play sports (recently I'm interested in the combat discipline “Krav Maga”).
Sometimes I like cooking but, above all, I like eating and drinking! I’m curious to taste the local food and drinks of the country I visit, in order to “taste” personally the many different cultures and culinary traditions.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m strongly convinced that nowadays we really need to communicate, and I don’t mean to write messages or make a call, I mean that we need to meet real people and talk with them. In this sense communication and interculturality is very important in order to live in peace and learn to respect people from other countries and with different cultures and languages. Couchsurfing is one little step towards the purpose of trying to trust in unknown people instead of being afraid of them and maybe regain confidence in humanity.

Music, Movies, and Books
I usually listen to rock and metal music, but I'm also quite open to other genres, such as blues, soul, pop, swing, classical.
I like to watch movies, but especially TV series. My favourite are: Fringe, Chuck, Strange Things, Sons of Anarchy, Game of Thrones, Scrubs, Friends, The Big Bang Theory, Breaking Bad, How I met your Mother.
Regarding books I prefer the genre of fantasy, legend, mythology and travels.
