About Me

Starting in October 2024, I will finally fulfil my dream of a longer trip through South America, New Zealand, Australia and Asia. I cannot wait to see where this journey will take me! As a child, I was fascinated by my grandparents' travel stories. Their stories made me want to explore these places myself, and now my bucket list is bursting with dream destinations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Through couchsurfing, I have met many wonderful and fascinating people during my travels. It's truly a unique way to connect with a city, a country, and a culture. I wouldn't want to miss that anymore! I'm already excited about the amazing people and experiences I'll meet on my future adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love music. My Spotify is a colorful mix, but my favorite artists and songs are from the genres Reggae, Dancehall, Afrobeatz, Bongo Flava, and Folk Pop. I really enjoy going to concerts and festivals and never say no to checking out some live music whether it's a Jam session in a Jazz Bar or some singer-songwriters performing in the streets, you can count me in.

Movies: I am a '90s kid, so Disney movies and Harry Potter are my go-to comfort movies. I also enjoy political thrillers and movies based on true events. I'm open to a lot of different types of movies, but no horror movies! They tend to keep me up at night.

Books: I've recently rediscovered my love for reading after my studies and the long university texts temporarily took away the joy of reading a good book. I especially enjoy books that really hook you in, but I don't have a current favorite. I would love to hear about your favorite books and any recommendations you have!
