I don't have a favorite band or book but the best ones for me are:
Red hot chili peppers / The Killers / Coldplay

In movies I like almost all genres, some romantic comedies, science fiction, suspense... My favorites are Begin again, Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, Black swan, The butterfly effect, Cloud atlas. Actually I have many favorite!
And in series I don't get tired of watching Game of thrones (I love that series), How I met your mother and Malcolm in the middle
