Hello everyone! My name is Sandra and I am from Austria.
Three years ago I finished a technical school for chemical engineering. I am currently working in a research laboratory, which is actually really cool. Therefore I love science and exploring.
In my free time I play the clarinet and I am also a member of the local brass band in our village.
I hope you don't mind my humming and whistling, which I sometimes even don't recognize.
Furthermore I like to do sports like fistball, running, hiking and cycling.

When I was travelling with my friend through Scotland, we were hosted by some wonderful Couchsurfers who showed us some of their traditions and told us all about their customs. Those meetings made our trip so much better and we could get to know the country better than any tourist rushing from hotel to hotel. That is why I wanted to be a part of this amazing exchange of different cultures.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

For school I had to write a diploma thesis and therefore I had the privilege to work with a research team at the university in Cluj-Napoca, which is in Romania. I was there for 2 months in total and I really learnd a lot and also enjoyed this time very much. There I decided I want to travel more to see the world and learn for life.
