Hi world!

I’m 26 years old girl, I recently moved to Colombo and even though I cannot host people for now I would love to meet for a tea/beer and go for a walk around this vibrant city!!
I'm open minded and easy going, that's why I like people with same features. Travel, philosophical stuff, politics... are my favorite topics to talk about. I'm always curious and willing to get to know people better. I love listening new stories. Ah, and cats. I love cats! I would love our world to be a better place, so I try to make it so every day with small contributions :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While travelling I enjoy visiting places out of beaten track, that's why I like staying with locals, and of course hang out with them.
As well I'm always happy to host someone and help him/her as much as I can, showing the city, recommending restaurants, pubs, etc.

Interests

I always enjoy a good beer, and a nice talk. If there's no beer, no problem, I like doing other things as well!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Big Lebowsky (and other Coen´s movies), Into the wild, The Lord of the rings, Good fellas, Mr. Nobody, También la lluvia, The departed, Alabama Monroe, Costa Gavra´s films... Documentary movies. Also I love sitcoms and series!
Músic: reggae, ska, balkan, electrocumbia... I like dancing, but unfortunately i'm not good at it.
Books: I enjoy reading essays on politics, feminism, social issues. For relax I love reading so many different kinds of books, including adventures, history, and so on. Alberto Vazquez Figueroa, Almudena Grandes, or Khaled Hosseini are a good example of my literature tastes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the best experiences that I had was backpacking around East-Europe with a friend of mine. On that trip we had some of the most surrealistic situations.

I really enjoy cooking, even more if it's for people than for myself. I would be glad to prepare the geniune spanish tortilla de patata for you!
